How paying works

• Only budget owners pay. People you share a budget with use it on your plan, free.
• Prices are in US dollars, before sales tax where it applies. Stripe handles the payment; Pensum never sees your card.
• Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. The monthly price costs a little more than paying for a year.
• Cancel any time in Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then doesn’t renew.
• Payments aren’t refunded, including for the rest of a period after you cancel. Not sure yet? Start monthly, and switch to yearly once you are.
• If a plan ends, you get two weeks of reminders first. Then your budgets become read-only: nothing is deleted, and you can still export or delete them.
• Price changes are announced at least 30 days ahead and apply at your next renewal after that.
